Delivery
Order by 2.00 pm and we will try our very best to despatch your order the same day* with our standard service (Royal Mail 1st Class). Should you require your goods urgently a Parcel Force 24h service** is available at the checkout as an upgrade for a flat charge. This service is available for UK mainland only. Please note we are usually closed between Christmas and New Year and no parcels are dispatched during this period. Please note we do not guarantee delivery time and Dance Direct cannot be held responsible for late deliveries, and no refunds will be paid for late deliveries.
All parcels must be signed for on receipt. If you will not be at home during normal office hours Monday to Friday you may want to give us an alternative address where someone will be there to sign for the goods. (e.g. your work, a neighbour or a friend).

How long will it take for my order to reach me ?
For standard delivery we endeavour to dispatch parcels the same working day or very next working day, please be aware that during Easter and Christmas we only dispatch parcels on working days.
For UK mainland you can upgrade to Express Delivery if ordered by 2:00 we will try our best to get your order dispatched the same working day. If you order during a weekend using express delivery we will dispatch your order the following working day.
Below are estimated time scales for delivery, you parcel may arrive sooner.

** Parcel Force 24h service (for all orders, UK mainland only) is a flat charge of £5.95 or FREE for orders over £150. Please note that this service is non-guaranteed. Orders are dispatched the same day ( Monday to Friday) if are placed before 2.00 pm on a working day. For Parcel Force 24h service there is no dispatch or delivery at week ends, Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year. All parcels will require a signature on delivery so we can trace them and insure them appropriately. If you are un sure if you are going to be at home during the expected time of delivery why not change your delivery address to a work address or a neighbour.
Price policy
All our prices are quoted in GBP Sterling inclusive of VAT when applicable. (or net prices outside the EEC). We do not charge VAT for the Channel Islands however please ensure the correct country is selected when placing your order otherwise the VAT will be charged.
Please note customers outside the EU might be subject to domestic import and duty taxes. Please check with your local authorities before placing your order to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Dance Direct cannot be held responsible for these charges. All goods sold on this web site are excluding any import duties and/or taxes outside the EEC.
In the event of price changes with our suppliers, we may find it necessary to adjust our prices accordingly.
Unless specified to the contrary quotations in respect of price are made by the Seller without obligation and are subject to alteration without notice. The Seller may give notice to the Buyer at any time up to 3 days before delivery of any increase in price provided that the Buyer may cancel this contract in writing within 3 days of any such notice by the Seller
Returns & exchanges
All returns:
* must be sent within 4 months to Dance Direct, PO box 21 258, Melksham SN12 7WB for either an exchange or a refund. All orders are double checked however if any picking errors occur please inform us within 48HR from receipt of the order.
* must be sent postage paid. We recommend recorded post as we accept no responsibility for mislaid return parcels.
* must be sent in new resaleable condition in the original packaging with tags still attached.
This does not affect your statuory rights.
For a fast process, enclose a copy of your invoice as well as your instructions.
Goods can be returned within 4 months from the delivery date however they have to be in new resaleable condition in the original packaging with tags still attached. Under the UK trading standards you are entitled to change your mind and standard postage will be refunded if you cancel your contract with Dance Direct within 7 days from receipt of goods. Cancellation of contract does not apply to partial orders being returned and must be notified in writing or by email to sales@dancedirect.com. Only standard delivery is refundable.
Please note no postage is charged for straight exchange going to a UK address (same style/quantity but in a different size or colour). A flat rate of £2 postage will be charged on all other exchanges orders going to a UK address. Exchanges with additional items/orders will be charge at the standard postage rate. Exchange orders outside the UK will be charged at our standard postage rate.
All tights, books, DVD’s, CD’s and special orders are a final sale.
Printed items may fade with repeated washing. We recommend these items are washed by hand following the washing instructions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right to use your original card details to make a payment debit or credit as per your return/exchange intructions.

Back orders
Every effort is made to dispatch your order complete. Unfortunately we cannot ensure that we are permanently in stock of all items although we do try our hardest. In the event we are temporarily sold out of an item you ordered, we reserve the right to cancel it or replace it with an alternative product unless otherwise instructed. If you are ordering goods for a show, audition or a Christmas gift, we recommend that you place your order approximately four weeks in advance to avoid disappointment (e.g large quantities/large sizes etc). Please note that we are closed between Christmas and New Year.
