Article Title: Photo shoot and Audition Information Launch

We are currently organising a photo shoot with a dancer ready for our new catalogue which will be out early 2010. We have auditioned a gorgeous and very talented young ballet dancer from the Paris Opera and will be carrying out a photo shoot with her in mid October 2009. We are extremely excited about this beautiful, fresh new face for our catalogue.

Talking about fresh and new… there are lots of exciting new leotards in fantastic colours, new Bloch ballet tights and new Capezio leotards with designs to suit all dancers and all ready to be featured in our new catalogue. We have also added new products to our revamped website which now has a fresh and fluid feel about it. Funky vibrant footless tights and wacky fluorescent tutus are just some of our new products available now.

At Dance Direct we are currently working on and updating our website, our aim is to have an internet site that brings together quality content for the dance community. We want to have one place for dancers and parents of dancers to be able to log on to and find all the information they require, about things like tips and technical advice for all dancers from young ballet dancers, students and professionals alike. There will be up-to-date information available about the latest dance auditions across the world at the tips of your fingers.

As ex-professional dancers ourselves we are well aware of the struggle to find jobs, even though there are many around it’s sometimes very difficult to know about them and where they are taking place and before you know it, the auditions have come and gone.

It’s easy to find many websites selling cheap dancewear but it’s really not so easy to find a website with all the information needed in one place, with this in mind and with our contacts in the dance industry we have been able to pull together and collate all of the information required for the latest dance auditions ready for our customers.

The vision we have is to become an exciting and fun meeting place online for the dance community..
