Dance Direct have been busy introducing their new range of camisole tutus ready for the Christmas season which is fast approaching with only 5 weeks to go. These tutus are available in sizes for adults and children and in a variety of new and exciting colours and can be found on our website along with our pink ballet tights and ballet shoes which will go together perfectly.

After the great success of the children’s’ tutu (code TT1) we decided to introduce a new range in adult sizes too… because why should children have all the fun. There are 5 colours available which are black, white, baby pink, burgundy and turquoise all in sizes XS – XL. These tutus are perfect for the keen and serious ballet dancers but also for fun and frolicking in fancy dress, especially in our fluorescent funky colours available in the children’s range just like fluorescent cerise, kelly green, fluorescent yellow, lilac, purple, raspberry, red and yellow and not to mention black, white and baby pink.

To mark the launch of these new tutus we have reduced the cost of both, children’s and adult’s tutus. The TT1 (children’s code) was originally £18.95 and is now at the low, low price of £15.00 and the TT1A (adults code) was £24.95 and is now down to an unbeatable £18.00. This special offer was introduced only 10 days ago and already they are flying off the shelves and our warehouse team can barely keep up with the demand we have received from our customers eager to purchase them ready for Christmas plays and performances.

Speaking of performances… we recently advertised a Dance Video Competition which will run over the next 6 weeks until the 31st December 2009. We came up with the idea to create an area on our Facebook fan page where dancers can post videos of themselves doing, what they do best, which will be seen by all of our fans.

To encourage participation into this competition we will be giving away free hoodies (code PH78) to the best ten dance videos. We have already uploaded 3 different pieces and styles of dance; one ballet, one break dance/hip hop and one contemporary piece. Our customers can take a look at these and use them for inspiration to create their own unique work of dance. We are really looking forward to seeing all of the different entries, styles and visions.

What better way to show off their favourite items of Dance Direct's dancewear than in a dance video. Dancers will definitely get noticed in one of our brand new beautifully coloured tutus, or a funky dance top from our urban dancewear range or how about looking sophisticated and professional in a black Capezio leotard.
