Article Title: Leotard Presentation – 3D Animation

Alongside all the other vast improvements we have been making to our website over the last few months we have also, at long last, added yet another feature to improve our customers shopping experience. Always striving to deliver the best possible Customer Service and looking for ways to go above and beyond the expectations of the dancers and parents of dancers who buy their pink ballet tights from us and their pink ballet shoes, dance sneakers and jazz shoes, behold… our newest feature, this new feature is called ‘3D animation’ and has been a very long and pain staking process for us here, but we are very happy to be able to finally launch this on our website and it’s live right now. An icon has been added to each of the products to indicate that the 3D feature is available for that item. Once pressed the product will continuously spin or turn so that the full 360° degrees can be viewed and by using the mouse this feature can be paused for closer inspection of the product and can also be moved backwards and forwards.

This can be found on all of our leotards, from our quality cheap leotards to Capezio leotards and our plain black leotards. We have also included our dance sneakers so you can see the full funkiness of the colours and graphics on the trainers. By designing and implementing this feature, it gives our customers much more of a feel of the dancewear that they are buying, and with Internet shopping becoming more and more popular by the day, due to the fact that it is by far the easiest and most convenient method of purchasing household food, books and DVDs, clothes and home ware too. We at Dance Direct are totally committed to our customers and we want our customers to have every confidence in us and the products they are buying from us.

We have also just finished taking over 250 cut out ‘ghost photos’ of our new range of products ready for the new catalogue which we are all really excited about, due out in February 2010, we decided to reshoot all of the urban dancewear range, our jazz pants, dance tops and bra tops, to bring these up to date and also to make the website and the catalogue consistent.

In the past we took these photographs ourselves in-house but this year we have subcontracted this job to a photographic studio in London - with the amount of new products that will be introduced in the next catalogue, this job was just far too big for us to complete alone so this time we thought we’d leave it to the professionals.
