Bringing back Lycra

Not every little girl’s favourite colour is pink and not every little girl’s dream is to become a ballerina, so with this in mind Dance Direct are bringing out a complete new range of children’s dancewear which will be featured in the new catalogue due out in February 2010. As we’ve said before next year is going to be all about colour, colour and more colour, cheap and cheerful quality dancewear, affordable for everyone. We are aiming to reach a wider range of children taking part in lots of different activities such as cheerleading, ice skating, aerobics and even trampolining, by providing more cheaply priced but still, high quality dancewear leaves much more money to spend on dance classes and hobbies themselves.

We cannot wait to introduce our new funky, vibrant and eye catchy range of children’s dancewear in eight new colours including turquoise, raspberry, black, white, ballet pink, royal blue, purple and navy.

These lycra leotards are perfect for ballet and perfect for jazz dancing. With matching leggings, hot pants and elasticated skirts, they also make a great gym outfit too. Why not jazz things up a bit and mix the colours around, with this new range every dancer can create their own individual look, so if they want to stand out in an audition and be noticed in a crowd, be daring and mix raspberry with turquoise or purple mixed with white, or create a more subtle look in ballet pink hot pants and a matching leotard, which are available in all of the basic shapes like spaghetti strapped leotards, cap sleeved and tank leotards so there’s definitely something to suit everyone’s taste.

Not wanting to leave all the fun to the children, we are going to introduce this new range of vibrant lycra leotards and hot pants in adult sizes as well. They too can inject some colour into their lives which is just what’s needed on these cold grey winter days, it’s a well known fact that wearing bright colours puts people in a better mood, they smile more and are generally more alive, which in the world of dance cannot be more important. With our cheap ballet tights and quality cheap ballet shoes there’s even more to smile about.
