Catalogues, Stock and Move It

The new catalogue has already arrived in hundreds of homes around the UK and already the orders have been coming in thick and fast. With this being our biggest ever launch of new dancewear lines, over 200 exciting new products, we are still waiting to fulfil certain stock levels. Unfortunately some of the new lycra children’s leotards like the P81C and the P12LC haven’t arrived yet, we are hoping to take delivery of these dancewear items by the end of next week. There has already been a really high demand of the new basic children’s leotards which are perfect for kitting out entire dance schools with their uniforms because of the wide variety of different colours; from turquoise, raspberry, royal blue, purple, white, black and pink, not to mention the fact that we now cater for a huge range of sizes from a tiny age 6 right up to an adults large and our prices are extremely attractive with up to 40% less than retailers. Due to the popularity of these lycra children’s leotards, they will be a permanently featured stock item. We are extremely eager to get this new dancewear on the warehouse shelves which are already looking full to bursting!

With the launch of the new catalogue and the newly updated website we decided to have a bit of fun and play a game of ‘hide and seek’ with our customers. For this game we have hidden a little gold star amongst one of our products on the website, the first five people to find the star and email us at sales@dancedirect.com with their full name and address will actually win the product on which they found they star. A new pair of Pointe shoes, a new leotard, a funky hip hop hoodie or a pair of jazz pants all for free – what more can our customers ask for? March is going to be a busy month for us; we have been busy redesigning our stand and display area ready for the Move It show which is taking place in London in the next couple of weeks. We have decided that it would be so much easier and more consumer friendly to use railings displaying our dancewear to be featured this year, it will make products much more accessible instead of having to rummage through piles of clothing to find the perfect item. We have also just taken delivery of 10,000 vouchers that we will be giving away at the Move It show; these are £5.00 vouchers for dance student vouchers and are redeemable online.

The French catalogue will be ready to go in two weeks time, we are currently just polishing off and finalising it and we are also working on the French website to bring it up to the standard of the UK site.
