The New Mezzanine Floor

During this last week the Dance Direct warehouse and offices have been filled with the sound of hammers banging, scaffolding being put up, machinery moving around, air conditioning going in and electricians giving us new lighting. This hive of activity is all down to the new mezzanine floor which has been put up in the warehouse giving us lots of extra floor space and creating an upstairs for a rather impressive looking photo and video studio, a new meeting room and a samples room. It isn’t until you actually witness the work in progress that you can see how superb the whole concept is, it’s almost as impressive as reclaiming land from the sea in Japan in order to expand the country.

We are so excited and cannot wait for the next stage of this construction, the decorators, carpet fitters and even more electricians will be coming in over the next few weeks to transform the new space into actual fully functioning rooms and once they start to take shape we are going to be bursting with excitement to get our teeth in and start photographing the new leotards, new urban dancewear and dance sneakers ready for the next catalogue.

Dancewear in the warehouse has been moved backwards and forwards and backwards again to accommodate the new flooring, Pointe shoes and ballet pumps, jazz shoes and tap dancing shoes have been relocated and our Urban dancewear range, dance school basics and big brand Plume dancewear is now bursting off the shelves ready to fulfil the orders coming in thick and fast. Even though we have had to work around the workman it has no way stopped us from getting customers dancewear parcels out to them with our usual speed and its always nice to hear from our customers who have received their products in record time because we don’t like to hang around here at Dance Direct, we are committed to providing the best possible Customer Services for our customers and are constantly looking at ways we can improve our services even more, which is why we are expanding Dance Direct into Germany, it gives a much better and more personal service to all of our German customers as does the Dance Direct in France, so watch this space for more updates and news once that gets up and running.

The discounted Capulet dancewear we have on offer has flown off the shelves faster than we could have imagined, it looks like our customers cannot help but treat themselves when there’s a bargain around and not surprising really considering ballet leotards are selling for only £5, customers really do need to hurry themselves up now if they want to catch one of the last remaining Capulet sale items.
