Graphic Designer joining our Team

Here at Dance Direct we are very excited to announce that our long term Graphic Designer which we have been working with for many years is actually going to be joining the team here on the 1st September 2010 working from France. This guy is already legend within the company and he has already designed some pretty awesome artwork for us; he’s the creator of our fabulous Dance Direct catalogues, he designed our gorgeous pink and white mail order packaging bags and also the special offer leaflets which are sent out with dancewear orders to our customers showing them all of the great deals we have, like the Back to School price crash we have on at the moment on certain leotards, ballet tights and dance shoes available for children and adults. Time is running out to grab these great products at super low low prices so our customers will need to get their orders quickly to avoid disappointment. Children’s pink ballet tights are only £2.36 and pink satin ballet shoes under £4!

The Graphic Designer will be working very closely with our IT / Website team to bring our customers some exciting new changes in the up and coming months, and as well as these new changes he will certainly have his work cut out with the mammoth task of designing the graphics and layout for the new catalogue. We aim to start work on the new catalogue (Issue 13) in September ready for the launch in early February 2011. Capturing all this new dancewear in funky, fresh new imagery will be an exciting and fun job for the Graphic Designer and looking at different layouts, colours and graphics which will appeal to dancers of all ages and all different techniques.

We know by that time our customers will be dying to see what new products we have in store for them and with 10 years experience in the dancewear industry, we are confident that we have a pretty great idea what dance teachers, parents of dancers and the dance community are looking for in terms of funky urban dancewear, new street dance styles and of course with our extensive knowledge of Capezio dancewear we are able to bring our customers gorgeous new Capezio leotards that will be perfect for something a little extra special and not forgetting the exquisite Bloch leotards we will also be introducing in our next catalogue. While our customers await the arrival of the next catalogue, there will be new Limited Edition dancewear products added to our website every few months to keep up with changing trends in the dancing world.
