Hurricane season is on its way!

Even though things have slowed down a little bit during the school summer holidays it’s the lull before the storm that is Back to School. The warehouse is still being transformed and this week the team have been colour coding all of the dancewear boxes, which sounds like an easy task but with over 100 thousand different boxes of products it’s a mammoth task. All of the 87 different brightly coloured tutus we sell have been sorted out into new boxes; and whilst this process was being completed it looked like giant piles of candyfloss were sat all around the warehouse, they looked almost good enough to eat.

The scaffolding, the skyjack and the tools have been cleared out of the warehouse after the construction of the new mezzanine floor and we have had the carpenters in this week crafting a brand new staircase up to the new photographic studio which is looking awesome. The studio is so big it’s also doubling up as a samples room; and we have already started taking delivery of new samples of leotards and urban dancewear to look through and choose only the very best ready for the next catalogue, the room already looks like a hurricane has flown through it with the amount of funky dance tops, trendy dance pants, sneakers and vibrant new leotards of all colours and styles which has been tried on and tested against the rigorous dance moves they need to endure. After all of the work which has been carried out over the last few weeks we decided to do a bit of summer cleaning, hoovering and mopping the whole warehouse sounded like a good idea at the time but was a very long, very hard and tiring job. It was well worth it in the end after all the doughnuts and cream cake treats we had afterwards.

Even more racking has been added to the warehouse making lots more space for new products ready for the next catalogue (Issue 13) which is due out in February next year, already we have begun photographing this new and exciting dancewear, but we are afraid there will be no sneak previews beforehand apart from to say that there will be some superb new Capezio leotards and beautiful Bloch leotards, not to mention funky new urban dancewear and dance sneakers. To tide our customers over until the next catalogue we have some Limited Edition products coming very soon, and most exciting are the new Pineapple Ugg style boots we will have available online in the very near future, these boots are the ultimate in trendiness and will keep dancers warm throughout the cooler blustery autumn days while still looking fab and they are great to pull on after a long dance session when feet are starting to ache. We are certain these boots are going to be a hit with the dance community.
