Photo Shoots and New Dancewear

Our new photography studio is definitely being used to its full potential and we are currently in full swing with our photo shoots, it’s a very busy time for us what with reshooting over 500 product pictures including lots of Bloch dancewear, leotards and dance shoes ready to revamp the website and for the new catalogue due out in February 2011. We know some of the product pictures currently in the catalogue and on our website are starting to look a little old as they have been used for the past few years, this is why we have organised this huge reshoot, our customers will have completely up-to-date photos with colour swatches and sizing and fabric information at the tips of their fingers, we have also added 3D animation feature to enable customers to see all 360 degrees of our products. We are also spending quite a bit of time in London shooting with some top ballet dancers from the English National Ballet; it will be quite an honour to have our new ballet collections including lots of Bloch leotards and ballet shoes modelled by these dancers and we are bubbling with excitement over different poses and backdrops to be tried out. We have four young ballet dancers including a little boy who will be modelling our entire children’s ballet range which includes some cute little Bloch leotards. Over the next ten days we will be cramming six days of shooting in, and on Monday and Tuesday of next week we are travelling to a studio in London with suitcases full to bursting of all the new urban dancewear, we will be meeting with five dancers who are very excited about seeing all of the new dancewear they will be modelling for us.

Our onsite photo studio is full to bursting with new samples which have been chosen for the next Dance Direct catalogue, the dancewear is all lined up on racks just waiting to be tried on and posed in. There are hundreds of different leotards, ballet tights, tutus and dance shoes which have all made the grade and in many different styles and colours which are suitable for adults and children alike. Amongst all these new products we have some beautiful new Bloch leotards which we know will be ultra popular with the dance community. They are very feminine and flattering and perfect for dance auditions or just to add a bit of luxury to dancewear wardrobes around the world.
