Probably being stupid but can you tell me how the elastic straps are meant to be tied please? The shoes are lovely.

You need to put them on the foot and cross the elastic over. Then you can sew them into position parallel with the attached side and cut off any excess

I have removed your previous question where you put your full name. As far as the question about shoes is concerned Bloch do not supply measurements as it depends on the size of the shoe. The width is taken on the widest part of the foot.
