Hi, a bit confused about the size guide..should I select a 9.5 for tap shoes if I am usually a 6.5 UK Ladies for normal shoes ?

If you are unsure of the fitting, we would recommend to order a couple of different sizes to try on at home and then return the ones that don't fit. We hope this is of help. Bloch's footwear size guide is intended as a suggestion only. Foot shape, width and length of toes can change the way a shoe will fit each individual. All size guidelines are based on a medium width foot. A wide foot would require an additional half size up.
I would suggest ordering more than one size if you are unsure and then returning the unwanted pair for a refund.
