* Elegant and classic bodice and separate skirt overlay to wear over your choice of tutu
* Exquisite metallic floral woven bodice with spandex side panels to create the perfect fit
* A mesh centre front ‘V’ panel with gold metallic braided edging that decorates the front panel. Bodice is boned at front and back to hold the perfect shape with a zip back fastening. Comes with detachable nude and clear straps for you to choose from
* A separate lotus shaped over-skirt in matching fabric edged in gold trim on a spandex waist band finishes the look
* There are elasticated loops under the bottom edge of the skirt overlay for you to attach to buttons on the separate tutu skirt to keep in place. Wear over COTU0055 platter tutu or COBD0015 romantic tutu skirt
* Supplied on a hanger in a free garment bag

Hi

We have attached the overlay skirt to the tutu using the buttons on the tutu. Buttons were also supplied separately in a small plastic bag that mention attaching to the bodice. Is there a way to attach the bodice to the tutu skirt also to minimise any gap between the tutu and bodice? On the photos there isn’t a gap so are the bodice and tutu fixed together somehow?

Hi,

The bodice should have some elastic hoops in the back for you to attach it with the buttons on the tutu.

Thanks for responding to my query about attaching the bodice to the tutu. I think if I just attach using the current buttons on the tutu skirt it would leave the gold Lycra on the tutu overlay visible over the top of the bodice. Additional buttons were provided but there is no advice where to add these without damaging the bodice, overlay or tutu. Please could you let me know as I want the bodice and tutu skirt to look seamless with the gold Lycra on top of the overlay hidden so they look attached?

Good morning Nicola,

COTU0057 costume which is a bodice with a separate overskirt then you attach the overskirt to the tutu which should have buttons already attached, then the bodice top has loops on the back and side which you also attach to the buttons on the tutu skirt pulling the bodice down over the top of the overskirt. You could sew the buttons on to the brocade part of the overskirt to then attach the bodice just to the gold overskirt and not the tutu skirt.

I'm a male ballet dancer but I'm going through a change from male to female so I'd like to know if this would be OK for me to wear and would I need to wear a thong Underwear pink convertible tights a bra leotard ouch pouch toe pads and pink pointe shoes

This is just the bodice with an overskirt so you would need to wear it over a tutu or tutu skirt which you would need to purchase separately. you will also need the other items you have listed.
