Hello. I'm looking for a flat dance shoe, with a harder heel, but not actually a tap shoe. How hard is the heel in this pair? I like to be able to make noise with my heels, which is not easy with a suede or a rubber sole. Also, are they comfortable for my "older" feet? I wear a US size 8 to 8.5. Thank you!

The heels are hard and designed to make noise for character work. They are not tight fitting and with the lace up they should be fine.
